Talbot House Children's Charity are looking to recruit an inspirational and enthusiastic Teach of Art & Design, Design Technology, and Photography, to teach KS3 & KS4. Applicants must be QTS with ECT (formally NQT) to apply.
The suitable applicants must have experience working with SEN pupils with complex needs. All our pupils have an EHCP for SEMH, but many have multiple diagnoses and their SEMH is due to ASD, ADHD, Trauma, and attachment. Some of our pupils may have multiple needs. All applicants are required to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and excellent classroom management. We expect our staff to have high expectations for all pupils. We are a small non-maintained school with pupils ranging from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4. Class sizes are rarely bigger than 6 pupils.

Hours of work: 39 hours per week (term time plus some days as required e.g. GCSE results day).
Working either Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:00pm and 8:00am to 3:00pm on a Friday or Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 4:30pm and 8:30am to 3:30pm on a Friday.
