Primary Teacher - KS1 & KS2
Talbot House Children's Charity are looking to recruit a passionate and experienced Primary Teacher. Applicants must hold QTS with full Early Career Teacher (ECT) Status, formally NQT, to apply.
Suitable applicants must have experience of working with SEN pupils with complex needs, including SEMH, ASD, ADHD, trauma and attachment, to work in our growing school. Some of our pupils may have multiple needs. We are a non-maintained special school with pupils ranging from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4, this role is to teach Key Stage 1 & 2. Class sizes are rarely bigger than 6 pupils. The applicant must have excellent knowledge of the curriculum, classroom management skills and high expectations for all pupils to achieve their potential.

Hours of work: 39 hours per week (term time plus some days as required e.g. GCSE results day). Working Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:00pm and Friday 8:00am to 3:00pm, alternative hours are Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 4:30pm and Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm.
Salary: competitive, we will consider all salaries for this role, equivalent M1 to M6. We offer a part SEN allowance for this role (this will rise again in April 2024 and to full minimum SEN in April 2025). Further details will be explained to those invited for an interview.
Start date: January 2024 (or sooner, pending your notice period requirements).
