Last Wednesday at Talbot House School we had a whole day of activities about Racism. Show Racism the Red Card is a charity which uses footballers to help teach pupils about what racism is and how to stop it. It was a fun day and it challenged some of the views of the pupils about racism and discrimination.
We were very lucky to have former Newcastle United footballer Olivier Bernard attend, share lunch with us and play football with the whole school in the afternoon. A big thank you must go toBernie, who helped organise it and ran a session in the afternoon.
