I would like to introduce myself as the new Assistant Headteacher and SENDco at Talbot House School from January 2023.  My name is Gavin Jackson; I am really excited to join Talbot House and begin to build excellent relationships with pupils, parents, and carers.

 

I have taught within Sunderland over the past 12 years within a mainstream secondary school as an Assistant Headteacher (SENDco) where I have learnt and developed leadership skills and qualities, that I am looking forward to bringing to Talbot House, working with the Headteacher and the wider team.

 

As part of my role I am also the school SENDco and will therefore be undertaking all EHCP reviews and the point of contact for academic/EHCP queries or questions. I can guarantee like all staff at Talbot House that I am fully committed to helping all pupils to secure the best outcomes possible in their time here.
