Welcome to Orange Zone
Our Orange Zone welcomes pupils from Key Stage 2. Pupils in Orange Zone follow the National Key Stage 2 Curriculum. In Orange Zone there will be no more than 5 children placed in the area.
Our curriculum consists of core and foundation subjects. We realise our pupils need a high-level support to achieve their best. We have built into our curriculum; wellbeing, careers, preparation for adulthood to allow pupils to build resilience and prepare them for adult life.
The Thrive approach is embedded within our daily practice. If one to one sessions are required we build this into their curriculum.
Our care team are on hand to support pupils when they need some time out of class or just to be in a calm space, a chat or just feeling they are not coping with their day.
